As the Bid Manager for a successful award winning Scottish Construction Group you will lead and manage all aspects of the Bid process and play an integral part ensuring continued success and growth.
Operating across multiple construction sectors including Housing, Commercial, Education, Retail and Healthcare and with a large portfolio of happy Public and Private clients this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Scotland’s largest privately owned Construction Group’s at a time where the direction and focus is very much to grow the business whist delivering the same award winning quality and standards.
Supported by the Pre Construction Director and the Commercial Director you will manage and coordinate the entire Proposals process, working closely with Planners, Buyers, the Commercial team, Technical team and the Operational Managers you will coordinate, prepare and present the tenders /Bids on behalf of the Group.
The major appeal about this opportunity is that it allows you to work across a varied portfolio of clients and sectors on high value major design and build projects. This makes the role challenging as no two tenders will be the same, but you will gain so much more experience and expertise than most companies can offer.
Our client has indicated that ideally you will have a Commercial background having then moved into Bid Management or Pre Construction – but they are certainly not excluding Operational or Technical experience.
The position is based in Central Scotland, easily accessed from most Cities and Town’s around the Central belt region, it is offering a salary up to £60,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
